Audio/Visual Equipment

Whitehill Village Hall

Audio / Visual Facilities

Whitehill Village Hall provides high-quality audio/visual facilities for use in both the Main Hall and the Meeting Room.

A tutorial can be provided on how to use the equipment effectively. We recommend setting up the audio/visual equipment well in advance of your meeting or at a separate time beforehand. This allows you to check all cables and connections, become familiar with the controls, and resolve any issues without time pressure. Assistance is available if needed.

Main Hall

  • Large 3.5 m x 3.5 m electrically operated screen on the stage
  • Ceiling-mounted high-definition projector
  • Connections: wall-mounted HDMI and VGA next to the stage
  • Radio microphones (handheld and lapel lavalier)
  • Bluetooth and 3.5 mm jack plug connections to the audio system
  • Four-speaker sound system suitable for presentations, classes, and music
  • Audio induction loop automatically activated when the sound system is in use.

Meeting/Activity Room

  • Manually operated screen
  • Ceiling-mounted high-definition projector
  • Connections: wall-mounted HDMI and VGA
  • Audio via two speakers, with the signal provided by the projector through the HDMI connection

Video Conference Facilities

A table-mounted omni-directional microphone is available for conference calls when multiple people are present in the room. This ensures all conversation around the table, or in the room, can be clearly picked up by remote participants.
